Simultaneously, the class is responsible for the theme, layout, design, and much of the writing and photography for the PathFinders Compass yearbook. Semester One focuses on engineering \u2014 students master FDM printer mechanics, material science, precision measurement, and CAD design in TinkerCAD. Semester Two shifts to art \u2014 students learn organic digital sculpting in Blender, use generative AI as a concept tool, and finish with post-processing techniques like sanding and painting. Students are required to have a 3D printer at home.
